We take very seriously the privacy of our website and our recruitment service users and the security of their personal information.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to set out the principles governing our use of personal information that we may obtain about you. By using the website, or by registering as a user of the services that we provide, you agree to this use. We ask you to read this Privacy Policy carefully. Any dispute which may arise over privacy will be subject to this policy, the data protection notice (if any) incorporated into this website and the provisions of English law.

We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time. We therefore ask you to check it occasionally to ensure that you are aware of the most recent version that will apply each time you access this website.

Magenta International will only collect personally identifiable data, such as your name, email address, current & previous employers and any information contained within a CV when it is voluntarily submitted to us at this website or from direct contact with our business (i.e. response to advertisements, referrals etc).

All candidate information will be kept on our database for as long as deemed necessary for a particular role or any potential roles. We will not otherwise transfer the personally identifiable information you provide at this website or from our database to any third party unless otherwise disclosed to you.

We have implemented technologies and policies with the objective of protecting your privacy from unauthorised access and improper use and will update these measures as appropriate as new technologies become available.

Under the Employment Agencies Act, Magenta International Ltd is obliged to hold your data for 12 months after it was last used.

If we have placed you either with one of our Clients or you have been directly employed by us we are required by law to hold your data for 6 years.

After 12 months of non-usage if you do not indicate to us that you wish your details to be retained on our database, we will archive your account.

 

Your rights

You have the right to request from us access to your personal information. Additionally you have the right to request from us:

That any inaccurate information we hold on you is corrected

That information about you is deleted

That we stop using your personal information for certain purposes.

If you choose to make a request to us to exercise any of these rights, we will aim to respond to you as soon as we reasonably can, but no later than one month. We will not charge a fee for a reasonable request.
