Role Overview:

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be based in bustling Glasgow, surrounded by vibrant eateries, bars, and restaurants, with excellent transport links. The team is involved in delivering sustainability-focused offices, cutting-edge healthcare facilities, award-winning retail developments, and major residential communities. This role offers hands-on building structures design training, with senior management keen to mentor and progress you to a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce calculations and specifications.
- Conduct technical reviews of drawings and junior members' designs.
- Prepare tender and contract documents.
- Attend coordination, design team, and site meetings.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Holds a relevant civil or structural engineering degree.
- Has 2-5 years of post-graduate experience.
- Demonstrates proficiency in producing calculations and specifications.
- Experienced in technical reviews and preparation of tender documents.
- Skilled in attending and contributing to meetings.
- Competent in Finite Element Analysis.
