  • Long established and well-respected Contractor is actively seeking UK Site Supervisors with experience in Streetscapes, Rail, and Land Development
  • Roles available in Auckland, Wellington, and Queenstown

Our Client:

Working for a market leading infrastructure and civil construction company that has been making their mark in Aotearoa, New Zealand since 1968. The brand has been behind some of New Zealand’s most high-profile streetscape, engineering, and civils projects.

They pride themselves on their strong family culture based on being true to their word and consistently delivering. They are fully self-resourced in labour and equipment and are one of the few contractors with experience and ability to successfully execute complex streetscape projects in high density urban environments.

Our client is experiencing some major growth and development by moving into the Rail and Land Development areas, as well as establishing branches beyond Auckland.


The Role:

Your main duties will involve:

  • Full supervision of all site activities from start to completion
  • Ensuring project programme is maintained and achieved
  • Ensure project deadlines are met by planning and implementing work schedules
  • Communicating with sub-contractors, clients, and consultants
  • Ensuring all tasks are executed to a high standard
  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure smooth delivery of the project
  • Ensuring safe site set-up for the team
  • Monitoring and maintaining all Health & Safety requirements for the site


To be Successful in this Role:
You will have and/or show:

  • Ideally, you will have at least four years’ experience working in the Streetscape, Rail, or Land Development industries, in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills supported by your ability to motivate and engage the team
  • Be able to identify issues and problem solve with a solution-focused approach
  • Good knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, and comply with company (and industry) health & safety policies
  • Be energetic, self-motivated, and a positive team member
  • Have integrity
  • Time management
