Regional Manager - Relocate to New Zealand!

Location: Bay of Plenty Region
Reporting to: Area Manager, Northern
Direct Reports: Region Leadership Team
Responsible for: All staff in Region/Depots and associated businesses


Job Purpose:
The role of Regional Manager at this Civil Construction company will provide leadership and management to the Bay of Plenty region and associated depots, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth while contributing to the wider success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy and Business Development: Develop and implement regional plans aligned with the business strategy, secure business systematically, and promote collaboration across regions.

- Client Relationships: Foster long-term client and partner relationships, deliver high-quality tenders, and maintain high client satisfaction.

- Operations and Financial Performance: Achieve revenue and profit targets, optimise the use of resources, and ensure contract and project performance meets timelines and quality standards.
- People Leadership: Attract and develop talent, build high-performing teams, and champion performance reviews and succession planning.

- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, lead consistent safety behaviour, and achieve safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Relevant qualification such as Certificate in Engineering.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Business (desirable).
- Chartered Engineer status (desirable).
- 10+ years in civil/roading, including senior leadership and P&L accountability.
