Job Description

Are you a skilled Pipefitter looking for a new challenge? If you have experience in mobile maintenance and installation and are comfortable travelling around London, Essex, then this could be the perfect job for you!

A leading independent maintenance company is looking for an experienced Pipefitter to join their team. You will be responsible for quickly and accurately diagnosing faults, completing remedial and installation works, and offering a complete engineering service for commercial and industrial buildings. You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial building services setting and hold an NVQ2 Level 2 or equivalent in a related trade. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in pipefitting, and a Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in a related trade. A valid CSCS card is also desirable. You must have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel to various locations around London and Essex.

 

You must be self-motivated, methodical and possess excellent organisation skills. You will need to quickly develop a rapport with customers and colleagues. You must have experience in commercial heating and hot water systems, small works such as replacements and new installations, and have knowledge of water hygiene. You should also be flexible with your schedule and have a passion for learning about the latest technology and products.

 

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £40-43K (negotiable), a company PDA/Tablet, a company vehicle, 22 days annual leave (rising to 25 after three years of service), a pension scheme (matched 3%), private healthcare (following the probationary period), sick pay (10 days full/10 days half pay), and a call-out rota (every 10 weeks) with a £150 fee plus call-outs.
