Job Description

Do you have an electrical engineering related degree? Embark on a dynamic journey in the realm of electrical engineering, where your academic achievements and passion for innovation converge to shape the future of applied electrical design. A prestigious firm is seeking a Graduate/Trainee Electrical Engineer to join their team, offering a structured mentorship and a training program aligned with this company's esteemed graduate training scheme.

This position promises a nurturing environment where your potential will be cultivated through hands-on experience, allowing you to make substantial contributions to the company's project portfolio. The firm's commitment to quality service is matched by a dedication to fostering strong client relationships and securing repeat business, ensuring a stable and progressive career path.

As a Graduate/Trainee Electrical Engineer, you will be entrusted with decision-making responsibilities under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Your role will involve managing your workload, proactively pursuing professional development, and aspiring to achieve engineering status within a defined timeframe.

The firm values interpersonal skills, clear written communication, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. A self-motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills will thrive in this role.

Your design duties will encompass working within a MEP discipline team, engaging in initial electrical engineering designs, site visits, and coordination with various stakeholders. You will also be expected to incorporate energy efficiency and green development strategies into your designs, adhering to industry standards.

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

- A CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council accredited honours degree or equivalent experience leading to Chartership.
- Preferably a BEng/BSc/MEng in an applicable engineering discipline.
- Eligibility for entry into further education training structure (Trainee Role).
- Suitable level of electrical industry experience (Trainee Role).
- Student or Affiliate membership of CIBSE/IET.

This role offers not just a job, but a career with a clear trajectory, surrounded by a team of experts in a company that integrates facilities management, energy services, and engineering design to close the "performance gap" in building design. If you are ready to harness your skills and drive towards a sustainable future in electrical engineering, this is the path for you.
