As a Financial Controller, you will be joining a company that prides itself on its strong client relationships and high-quality craftsmanship. This fast growing business is renowned for its friendly and efficient multi-trader team and its bespoke furniture-making capabilities, all crafted in a state-of-the-art Joinery Workshop. This important role offers a unique blend of financial oversight and strategic business involvement, providing a platform for professional growth and development.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

- Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and procedural improvements.

- Use advanced financial analyses and modelling to simulate economic scenarios and determine the company's present and future financial condition.

- Achieve a balanced commercial mix of equity and debt to minimise costs and maximise operational profit.

- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports, ensuring accurate financial documentation.

- Research and report on factors influencing the company’s performance, analysing and predicting market trends.

- Develop financial management strategies to reduce financial risk and provide recommendations to maximise profits.

- Assist executives in decision-making processes by providing relevant financial insights.

- Manage accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and cost-reduction strategies.

- Develop long-term and strategic business plans, including new funding strategies.

- Maintain external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers, and other statutory organisations.

 

**Skills and Qualifications:**
