As an Estimator, you will be integral to the pre-construction team, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in reviewing tender documentation, assessing subcontract trade packages, and compiling detailed cost documents. Key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing tender documentation to determine subcontract trade package and material requirements.
- Compiling and issuing tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assessing and aligning received subcontract tenders.
- Producing tender cost documents using in-house standard formats.
- Identifying and filling pricing gaps through labour, plant, and material pricing from first principles.
- Building tender stage programmes and producing take-offs for general works.
- Pricing project preliminaries based on programme durations and identifying preliminary requirements.

To excel as an Estimator, candidates must possess:

- 3-5 years of estimating experience in a main contracting capacity within the healthcare, commercial, or education sectors.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills, alongside the capability to work independently.
- A commitment to working beyond core hours to achieve deadlines.
- A desire to deepen understanding of the construction industry and its various sectors.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding time management and negotiation skills.
