**Role Overview:**
As a Refurb/Building Maintenance Contracts Manager, you will oversee the management and delivery of various contracts, including new work and refurbishment projects, up to the value of £3m. This role requires someone with extensive experience in contract administration, planning, estimating, tender processes, health & safety, and staff management. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee multiple contracts, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Attend regular meetings and site visits.
- Assist in the coordination, preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders.
- Prepare monthly applications for payment and costing of variations.
- Select and manage site teams and suitable contractors.
- Ensure all necessary contract documentation and reports are accurate and timely.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure health and safety compliance within designated contracts.
**Skills and Experience Required:**
- **Qualifications:** City and Guilds in a construction trade.
- **Experience:** Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager/Project Manager on projects up to £3m.
- **Skills:** Strong contractual awareness, detailed understanding of programming and budgets, excellent interpersonal and networking skills, effective communication at all levels, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, strong management and IT skills.
