 Magenta are partnered with a Life Science Research organisation looking for a self-motivated, diligent individual with enthusiasm for providing products and services that meet the needs of scientists working in biologic drug development and therapeutic drug monitoring. The position will suit a scientist working in bioanalysis who wishes to leave the lab for a product marketing opportunity, or someone with existing experience in marketing or sales in a life science company who is looking for a new challenge managing a rapidly expanding, market-leading antibody portfolio.

 Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivery of an anti-biotherapeutic product portfolio that supports the company’s strategy and goals to drive sales into biopharma; primary focus is on the anti-biotherapeutic antibody portfolio.
  • Works with the Product Manager - Custom Antibody Products, to develop the portfolio strategy through the business planning process.
  • Implements strategic plans for the portfolio from conceptual stages through the product life cycle to optimize profit and meet market, financial and growth objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities for new products and portfolio improvements through customer and market research, and collaboration with external key opinion leaders (KOL) and internal stakeholders Is the product champion and ‘go-to’ resource for their area of responsibility, including provision of support to regional sales and marketing teams.

 Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate technical information accurately and concisely with confidence to customers and at all levels of the business internally
  • Excellent numeracy, spoken and written English skills
  • Degree in the life sciences is essential
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in product marketing within the life science reagents sector, OR working in a technical or laboratory role in a bioanalysis or therapeutic drug monitoring setting
  • Laboratory or commercial experience working with antibodies is highly desirable
