Job Description

Our client offers a managed outsourced I.T. department to local small and medium size businesses.  They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated account manager who will be doing about 60/40% split account management to sales. The ultimate goal is for this person to be 100% account manager as we bring on more clients. The reason for this is that due to growth, the current account manager has a large workload but there isn’t yet enough for two people.

 

The Role:

  •    Working from home, with the view to return to the office 2+ days a week

  •    Manage the relationship with business owners/decision makers

  •    Help with onboarding new clients

•        Upselling/cross selling to existing clients

•        Creating and generating quotes

•        Build rapport with new, existing and potential clients

•        Attend face to face meetings and keeping their clients up to date with the latest technology

•        Ability to keep up to date with new technologies

  •    Escalation point for clients and technicians

  • The role will also involve bringing on new business from leads on the database, social media    connections, networking etc

   

 The Ideal Candidate:

•        Previous account management experience, ideally in a technical environment

•        Previous experience ideally with ideally Microsoft and Apple technologies

•        Ability to work productively within a team and the ability to work alone

•        Being forward thinking and innovative

•        Ability to build working relationships with clients

•        Must be able to drive – Company pool cars provided for client visits
