Job Description

Working for a leading food-manufacturing business in London, my client is seeking to recruit a UK Training Coordinator.



  • Work with the Human Resources Director, other Senior Managers and H&S to provide a proactive training service to the business, in both locations within the annual budget.

  • Preparation of annual training budget.

  • Produce monthly training report and statistics/spend/hours.

  • Provide the Human Resources Director with a programme of training courses and names of trainers for the month ahead.

  • Provide the Human Resources Director with a monthly update on compliance training.

  • Training – deliver internal courses.

  • Records – update and maintain training records, matrices, training files, refresher training.

  • Sourcing and arrangement of external courses depending on the needs of the business.

  • Ensure compliance training is up-to-date.

  • Assessment of training.

  • Manage the trainer.

  • Training needs analysis and skills gaps assessment

  • Target training for all roles.

  • Actively seek Government funding for training courses.

  • Deliver the induction programme.

  • Assist the Human Resources Director with ad hoc HR issues.

  • Good communication – letters, reports, presentations, minute-taking briefings, training courses        

  • Manage and develop the trainer.

  • Treat people as equals.  Work comfortably within a team.

  • Deliver “right first time” and on time.

  • See things through to completion.

  • Cover HR Advisor when on holiday or absent.

  • Challenge current practices to identify and deliver improvements and solutions.

  • Take ownership of tasks and accept accountability.
