Electrical Maintenance Engineer
21 days + Bank holidays
Holiday not to be taken during peak times (July-August)
3 weekly rotating shift pattern Mon-Fri 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 2200-0600.
During peak season Sat-Sun 0600-1800, 1800-0600. (Roughly 12 weeks a year June-Sept)
During low season Mon-Fri 0600-1400, 1400-2200.
Average working hours per week 47.1
Working as part of a team with a mechanical maintenance engineer.
Your duties will include:
Covering Holiday/Absences for your colleagues.
Responding to breakdowns on the production line.
Finding and rectifying faults on site.
Monitoring plant and equipment and completing logs.
Performing planned maintenance on plant and equipment.
Aiding the mechanical maintenance engineer in carrying out their duties.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a food production environment or other fast moving consumer goods, for 3 years or more.
Have experience with:
Sandiacre bagging machines
Gainsborough bagging machines
Optical sorting machines
Knowledge of hydraulic /pneumatic systems
Vibratory Conveying systems
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Engineering
Trained to a minimum of BS76171 16th Edition
Possess excellent communication skills.
Basic Computer Skills.
Have full UK driving licence.
Have a good work attitude.
Be flexible with your working hours, as their business is seasonal we have peak times, where you will be required to work longer hours.
